In the spring of 2006 Dr. Cantens received a Visiting Fellowship at Harvard University. This fellowship was related to my NEH project “Peirce’s Evolutionary Cosmology and the Naturalism vs. Theism Debate”. Harvard’s Houghton library houses all of Peirce’s original manuscripts. The Peirce archives at Harvard University offers scholars access to original philosophical material that Peirce wrote but which remains unpublished. Furthermore, my research was on cognition and evolutionary theory; Harvard University has some of the most advanced programs and extant library holdings on these topics.
